The Sync Pipeline is the Industrial Intelligence Layer of the Operational Sync Literacy (OSL) framework, looking at the synchronization economy from beneath the individual events that make it visible.
Rather than stopping at what happened, its analysis follows the machinery that allowed it to happen, the decisions made along the way and what changes once their consequences begin travelling through the market. Licensing architecture, platform responsibility, catalog performance, metadata systems, technological disruption, market consolidation and rights infrastructure consequently enter the same field of observation, alongside the evolving place of music itself as an industrial asset.
The Sync Pipeline does not cover music as culture. It follows the systems through which music creates value, the paths carrying that value from one part of the ecosystem to another and the places where, somewhere along the journey, it can be preserved or lost.
